When the previous two fighters met in Dusseldorf, Tyson was considered an underdog and upset the odds when he defeated Klitschko resulting in a huge upset. Klitschko had a clause in his contract which stipulated a rematch which will take place at the o2 in Manchester. The WBO and IBF heavyweight champion has been active on Twitter as always, exchanging shots with Anthony Joshua – an exchange that would be likely to take place after his upcoming fight in July.
The previous Klitschko vs Fury press conference had everybody excited, and although the boxing press conferences don’t always meet the hype of a UFC weigh-in or press conference, the fans in Dusseldorf and Tyson’s away following made it a memorable occasion. We are expecting to see the regular string of promotional activity leading up to the fight, in an attempt to sell tickets and fill the stadium (which I don’t think will be a problem). We have posted the previous Klitschko vs Fury press conference on the YouTube player below.
