One our favourite artists in the UK at the moment, and one of the best to come out of Manchester have released their new single ‘Carnival’ just in time for the summer! The Moods never fail to impress, and their usual high calibre is still here for you to enjoy.
“Carnival, the new single from the Northwest’s premier urban & EDM collective, The Moods, will be mixed at the world-famous Metropolis Studios by Grammy award-winning producer Paul Norris. Paul has worked with major Top 10 artists including Alicia Keys, Gorillaz, Ed Sheeran and Kygo. He’s also scooped a 2014 Grammy for his work with Rihanna on her album Unapologetic.”
Above is what the press release contained and if anything it doesn’t do this track justice. This is a perfect summer time tune and seeing as we are in the middle of a heatwave (or summer) what more could you want? This track is already receiving airplay on BBC 6 Music and can be found on all digital platforms for your regular rotation.
You can also catch The Moods over at Stampede Festival in Manchester on 21 July 2018, where they are playing alongside hip hop acts Lowkey, Mic Righteous, Lunar C and many others. Although they have a hip hop edge to their music their combination of genres is even more incredible live. It is rare to see a collective with such a strong presence on stage. Both individually and as a full band. The Moods do not disappoint.
They are also in the middle of a nationwide tour. If you can’t make it down to Manchester for Stampede Festival you can always catch them elsewhere. Click here to head straight to their site and check out their calendar. While you’re there you could also pick up some merch, and do your bit to support independent artists. Ensuring we here more music in the future from bands such as these guys!
